HELP NOOOOB COMM!!!!....any advice from u pro's?

Well...the title explains it...i suck...
BUT im fast learner on the plus side, ive played comm 4 times and won twice and lost twice.
i know how to play basically, (i know the controls & not a complete noob to the game), but it would be cool to get sum tips from the pro's

like... what upgrade to get first?/ha or jp/any cool hotkeys/any tips on placements etc...etc...ect

This guide deals with comming a pro team, extremaly unlikely situation on public servers. I think, opposite to this guide, you need shitloads of turrets to compensate lack of aim of typical n00b rine and his unability to fulfill orders. Also noone want shotguns, they all want a HMG/GL etc.

thats a classic maps guide,its different from siege maps cause in siege u must put advance armory 1st,all rts ,etc.

What can do a COMMANDER if "lame" marines and PRO

well... i had been playin NS for a really long time now... and i use to comm alot... but stop comming since if ppl makes u go comm ever game... it gets pertty boring...

1st, know what kind of a team u got. how many shooting pros, or usefully players that will run around build u PG and stuff.

2nd, u always need to have a plant in your head, even if 1 plant fails, you need to have a 2nd plant up fast. but u dont always have to tell you team. be in command, tell your team where u want them.

if you can follow those 2 points, it will be just matter of time u will be a great comm.


comm only can be as good as the team, know your team well is the key.
team only can be as good as their comm, do your job, command them!

I think one of the most important things for a comm to do is to talk to his team, and to be precise about what they want the team to do. It's no use saying things like "Get to lump now!" when what you actually want is only 2 people to go there to sort out a fade, because you'll get half a dozen people running in, leaving the front weak. If you name the players you want to go do stuff then hopefully everyone else will carry on with what they were doing before.

Also, as I found out to my disappointment when commanding last night, it's always nice to have a team who know how to shoot...
