Mapchanging

I´ve noticed that the admins quite often switch map after their own will. We had just finished ns_siege007 and we voted ns_chucksiege as the next map, after the loading screen it was ns_dig_siege I really think u should ask the players before switching map, its not that I unlike the admins but its quite irresponsible.

Please ask before u do anything =)

Don't know with admin you mean in this case, but in general we change maps after a server crash , NS always start with the first map in the mapcycle.

So after a few crashes the first cycle map gets pretty boring . These changes are commonly known by the frequent players and dont need annouchment

So for all other map changes, you have to ask the admin present in game, why he changed.

hope this clears things a bit up for you.

I think there's a bug in amxx, we just had a server crash during a vote, so i changed the map to ns_supersiege003, which won the vote, but immediately after the change the map changed to ns_ayumi without me doing anything. Either this was someone on rcon, or a new bug.

Are you sure ns_ayumi didn't win the vote, if you change the map too late the server will continue to sue the voted map as the winning map (i've tried on my server) and disgards the map you asked it to change to

the only time i ever changed the map from outsideo f the mapcycle was when the server had played the map 3 times in a row and it was kinda boring (if you know what i mean)
