What is new? The first new update is the biggest i think, it is only possible to join random teams. If you run into a join marine or alien sign on a map you will be forced into a random team.

• no more specating possible (admins only)
• only random team-joining is possible
• commander is now unable to spam catalysts
• possible limit for all marine guns (gl spam) (aktually limit is set to 5 gl)

Updated plugins:

c_limitplus (Build Limiter): written by Carling, updates/addons by Depot and White Panther (version 1.1.0). Plugin renamed to "Limiter XT" current version 1.3. Added support for catalyst-, heavyarmor-, jetpack-, welder-, shotgun-, hmg- and nadelucherlimitation. Added admin override for all limitations (if the admin is com).

vB3_Members_SQLX (vBulletin 3 Membership plugin for Amxmodx SQLX: added admin management and usergoup support. added autobaning forum ban to server. added random join and no specatator for non-admins. added support for userlevels (vBulletin user ranks and titles (and untestet reputation support)) to give a player access to commands if he has more posts, rank, a title or reputation level.

Maybe it is important to add a "non reconnect" plugin for team stackers and a task to auto join players after some time in readyroom (natural-selection only).

i specially like the random team thing!

The only thing what sounds unfair is the Building Limit override for admins.
I dont say that admins would abuse it, but, there will be some users for sure, who gonna complain about it.

sounds good, but bad again.
Because its Autoteam anyways, everyone gonna join the game.
But if you set AFK'ler (away from Keyboard) persons to forcejoin the game, its useless, because, i mean, what shall i do with a team where the players are not at the computer and stand at base?

the current auto-kick is better, it should only be shorten the time until you get autokicked. like 2 minutes or so.

The admin override for the building limiter is not active on the alien breeder natural-selection server. There is a "if defined" option - for the hole override and only for the admin override option. This was importanto for me to test some other plugins or map - but again: it isn't active no admin is able to build more then any other user (inlcuding myself). I only will set the override to avtive (need a recompile of the plugin - cant be switched by any admin command) to test something.

I don't often see ppl spectating so it seems to be more or less useless?!?

the most ppl who go spec. stay it for
- the whole map
- for a very long time
- or only for that reason to join quite later into the game because theyr too lazy to wait until a slot is free. (you can see that quite often at cs... ns is quite the same, sometimes)

and they dont play at all, only watching the game.
It "waste" the playerslots, because there alot other ppl who wanna play and wait somethimes very long until a slot is free.

so player who dont wanna play, cant go spec anymore, and are supposed to leave the server, and voila, free slot for other player.

True but nothing is perfect. We have a few demos here posted by players but this is a low priority because 5 demos in 1 year, i think we can ban such hackers without player posted demos too. Just report a player, maybe with screenshot and steam id and post it in the ban forum. I think all admins will read this and will have an eye on strange players.

In the other hand, how often do you see any hackers on the ns server? Maybe one 1 or 2 in a week, some weeks none. The old cva based hacks are all auto detected and the player will be banned. New hacks are hard to detect by cva checks and a speedhack is visible to all players (no demo needed).

Well, you haven't removed stats still, which is most important for getting rid of statwhores ; D

The only problem I see with the random join is that marines will be left without competent commander more often.

very nice plugins i find but spectate for admins is not so god!
