Suggestions for co_blackmesa

I think most of the ppl are really pissed off of this grenade launchers on this map and I think this server needs definitely a plugin for this nasty spamming on this map.

Suggestions 1:

Grenade launchers are only avaible at a specific lvl ( higher than 4 ) so ppl don't get them too early in the game

Suggestions 2:

Grenade launchers are limited for the whole marine team ( limit is calculated on marine teamplayers / 5 , maximum is 3 then )
and the same limit goes for Onos ( alien teamplayers / 5 , maximum 3 then )

looking for some feedback

I saw on another Server:

unlimited lvl ups

and you could only buy 8 frags for the nade launcher and then u have to rebuy it (again 1 lvl up)

but the max gls for a team... also a nice idea

well i think on the next server theres gona be a limit of gls and onos and the the spawn killing problem will be fixed and maybe raise level to 12-15

If the GL is to be removed from this map then Onos or cloaking or acid or any other powerful alien weapon shoul as well.
The problem isnt in the GL it is in the team that cant work togehter to neutralize the problem.

The GL is not a problem itself, allowing unlimited GL's so you end up getting nade spammed as an alien is.

- latejoin exp
- more levels (I strongly suggest 12 or 13, where 13 gives little advantage to aliens, 12 makes a game ~fair)
- gl/onos limit (I saw a ready-to-upload plugin that allows 1 GL for N players, 1 Onos for N players and so on).

We just have to look at Dr.Moron like he was to do it days ago, and he is late It will make him a motivation. I say everyone that wants to express what he feels about Dr.Moron being late with 2nd server, puts a ":shock:" to his signature

That is a good one.. that looks like it would solve some problems... until a n00b comes along and "steals" thje onos or GL from someone who is really good at it... btw.. a fallen or dropped GL still counts??

i just put a poll about extra levels, cus i realy wana see what members think about that, anyway we should realy add
Spawninvul plugin which allow u to be invul after spawn for short time(default is 3 sec) that would realy help against f.e. spawn camp in blackmesa and about that onos/gl limit i think that limit of 5 for both should be fine

Agreed about Spawninvul. And disagree too. This is a larger problem and it probably deserves a separate topic: with GL limit it will screw the game. If marines are not guarding their base, they will be smashed, aliens will go there and kill cc and kill everything that spawns. That's the trick, this is the way it is, if they don't care about defening, they loose. If they have spawninvul, they just dont care because it will protect them and they will regain the base for sure when problem occurs.
Either we have GL/onos limiter, or spawninvul, to have both of them is not a good idea tbh. And I must say that I find limiter a better solution.
