Vote Chambers on Start plugin

I found a nice program, which could be usefull

It's a plugin, which start a vote at the start of round to vote on which chambers shall be first (me think on the noobs who build SC first....)

the only problem is this "NOTE: Plugin will bug if you build 2nd hive before voting time is over (on first chamber). Only way this can happen is if your using sv_cheats 1 "

and i remember on " giveres " <- maybe there could be a conflict

hmm, you need 10 sec minimum for build hive, so vote time 10 secs and no problems


i know this plugin, and it can be usefull i think

This is useful for stopping noob gorges to build sc first

I must say that I don't play aliens frequently, but if it will make their game more comfortable, count my vote in.

I'll agree on this one.

saves indeed a lot of SC building as first ones.

allready installed in the first 3 week the server was online. the bad part is, u cant build chambers untill the vote has ended, this waste some time after the 2nd chamber. another bad part is after the round ding ding ding joiners cant vote but they see the votemenu.

If you ALT-TAB in windows during a game while a vote is in progress. You also have this problem when there is a vote in progress.

It will be cleared by the mapchange vote or any other vote.



So, it's a known issue which is not specific for this plugin.

right! but who joins exacty before the round starts? i bet not more then 10 of 30 players when the server is full.

It needs to be fixed, I need sources and IDEAS to do that. I need to know what to change and have a code to work on. Dr.Moron can send me sources, community must provide the ideas of solfing the problems (and pointing problems ofcourse).

maybe you should just make it so you can't build SCs first, unless its stargate, then it's useful for sneaking into the base right at the start and sticking chambers in the vents and wrecking their RTs
