"Steam Is Currently Having Trouble Connecting to the Steam Servers" Error - 15/12/06

There is currently a wide spread power outage in Bellevue/Seattle impacting Steam Server availability. Unfortunately ETA for when the power will be restored is unknown as the power company will only work on restoring it once the storm has eased and the high winds have died down.

Any issues you are experiencing with connecting to Steam are only temporary, as this isn't an end-user issue.

Please check this Forum or Steam News for further updates.

Well i guess, when Steam shut's down they'r Severs, and millions of Players Invested alot of money in Steam-based Games ... I guess they'll hunt them for Revenge ^^


Oh well, aslong as its an Soloplayer Game you can play it with Steam in Offline-Mode.

Every weekend there are some strange no-logon, no user ticket, ... errors. We should start a nice online pedition forceing Valve to host some EU auth-servers.

Hmmm. we in the EU have also a bad reputation when it comes to powerlines

Maybe a few servers in USSR Russia is saver ?

Hehe. Put it up here (Scandinavia). Our powerlines are pretty good it seems, even though power is expensive (people claim)
