The best way to talk?

I like Ventrilo better myself, got a server up and running also. Might be able to use that here for good fire-bursts users.

ventrilo rules. I use it on warcraft3 too.

Skype
Skype is able to bypass firewall portfilter by abusing a client-server-client connection to establish a peer-to-peer connection. Good quality, but if you're going for more than 4 people in a conference, your ping drops and it eats too much bandwidth

Ventrilo
Similar to Teamspeak, some other Codecs and Serverlicences have to be purchased in order to allow more than 8 connections at one time

My favourite voice-tool. Allows many codecs for example the Speex-Codecs have a great voice quality. Up to 100 logged in users per IP allowed unless you don't purchase a license, eats less bandwidth than Skype and Ventrilo.

I hear of alot of ppl that ventrilo should be much better than TS2, but when i read this, i guess those ppl never had more than 8ppl connected to theyr client ^^ ..

I used Ts and Ventrilo.

And i think Ventrilo is clearly the best for talking together in a group.

Ps. used it for gw and alot of other games

in a little group i guess.

But TS still is the best for huge ammounts of player , its free, and you dont need to buy extra codecs or stuffs . /

Where do you get ventrilo, if Fire-Bursts use that... i know they got teamspeak. but how about ventroli how good is it??
