Change to server?

I joined the NS server before and pressed F9, which is my button to join aliens and the game put me on marines!! Then i press F11 twice to get back in the ready room and nothing happened, so i quit and rejoined the server, walked into the JOIN ALIENS area and it put me on marines again. WTH IS GOING ON. Has one of the admins blocked join aliens the stop stacking or is there a glitch because i checked the buttons and its definately messed up.
Is anyone else getting this?

What is new? The first new update is the biggest i think, it is only possible to join random teams. If you run into a join marine or alien sign on a map you will be forced into a random team.

Maby it was this, if not , than there was too many on the alien side allready ,)
