Providing HTTP-Downloads

Hey there,

just joined the alien breeder and had to download "ns_siege2k6_rc2". It started downloading the readyroom loop... 3 minutes... the map file... 4 minutes. I have DSL 6000 with a maximum of 650kb/download. I think you missed to upload those files or do you even use sv_downloadurl?

All maps and files are mirrored for a fast download. I know there is a problem, sometimes you have to wait, there is nothing i can fix.

At least he did not downloaded the files via http-download, because if you connect and you're redirected it means you're downloading via http otherwise you're downloading the files from the server. I'm maintaining 3 gameserver (counterstrike) running on my root-Server and I've already experienced such problems, usually there is no res-File on the webserver so he goes for the gameserver.

It was just the 2nd time I had to download files from the gameserver, but even a retry/reconnect did not solve the problem.

Maybe double-check if everything is right.
