A new siege map.

Mariners:
- 13 Resource towers
- 1 Commander Chair

Aliens:
- 10 Resource towers
- 1 Hives

Map:
Mariners will be 2 big rooms, and 3 halls:
- Mariner Room A.
- Mariner Room B.
- Mariner Hall A.
- Mariner Hall B.
- Mariner Hall C.

Aliens will have 1 long hall.

And there will be a siege room, and a main door room.

That's it so far, but I will update this topic with text and screenshots, and post update posts when there is more news.

Suggestions are welcome, if you think something should be changed then post a reply.

More res nodes. Some layout, anything, dude, what can we say when You only said how many RTs are there.

I would like to play a map that has all res built, all buildings and chambers too, only time to open the gate is the time required to upgrade the armory and to get ha (two proto prebuild). Or if You can place AA from the start, game could start just when HA is researched. Many, many nodes, map very easy to defend for both sides (water tunnels f.e., or even better, something like in one CO map that had hive in the bottom and CC in the upper part, marines were falling to water and fighting aliens, there was an magic-elevator... Something like this elevator, it would force teams to stay at their sides, so hive or CC is never destroyed from "foot". Both marines and aliens would have to destroy something, if aliens kill it faster, then CC is smashed, if marines crush the object first, hives are destroyed (like ns_eye_v4). This game would be total fighting, almost like combat, but with commander, buildings and chambers in the background.
Just an idea.

I don't got any information right now, because I only made one resource room yet. :roll:
You're idea of a lot of resources sounds good, I will build it!
I will open the gates after 3 minutes I guess.
That gives the mariners some time to build a small hold.
And two phase gates at front and base.

Now what should be the layout of the IP's, AA and PG?
Can anyone paint that for me? Thanks!

Make sure the marine armoury is an advanced armoury, it owuld be a bit unfair giving the aliens full upgrades but leaving the rines with lmgs

I checked if it is possible to make the Armory a AA, but it's not...
I can only choose if it is build, or not, but not to make it a AA...
Neither I can set if HA or JP is invented.
Anyone has a solution?

this is rather like the lazy approach to a siege map with all the most important stuff built! so i guess its gonna be a mass onos/fade rush as soon as the door opens or a mass HA rush! :lol: in the case of the AA, why not open the door a minute after the armoury gets upgraded? therefore it gives rines enough time to get HMGs etc and aliens to fade/onos :!: alls fair this way :!:

As I wrote, if You cannot make an advanced armory, you have to open doors after armory upg time + HA research time.
