here i have a new map for the server, i hope it can be tested on the server (the map is at the bottom of this post)

I know the map, he can't build basic rooms, it will be a horror show for the server cpu. Build a map with basic knowlage of block, hollow and carve, but you allready know that.

but in some turorials it stands that u shouldnt use hollow, but what does it matter if i have hollowed or not? and why i havent used hollow? its because when i hollowed i couldnt select 1 wall, every wall of that room is selected if i click on 1 wall

Please i want one of this "no hollow" tutorial links :shock:

And it does metter how you build your map, i wont disguess this, please read and learn the basics, you can find all informations online. When you build verry large rooms you should follow some basic map editing rules.

In the other hand please replace this brown and gray old hl textures with some nices ones

The only one i can say is a map builded in paces takes much longer to compile and the rooms waste lot more r_speed & wpoly. And i can't understand why it is easyer to handel the design and change parts later, at anytime you can ungoup all including rooms created with hollow.

Looks small for 30 players.....I hope it won't be a 100% marine map as Goop siege was?

it doesnt take that long time to compile for me, the only thing that doesnt works with the compiling is the vis, even if i leave it on from morning until evening it hasnt compiled finished, so i just quit vis and the compile ends in a few min with both csg, bsp and rad, then i can play the map, cant see anything wrong

i have made it for 30 players, when it has been tested i want to recieve every comment/complaining about the map (so i can make it better or lay the map on ice), but you shouldnt excpect too much since this is my first map i make to any game (maybe i have made 1 or 2 maps to a strategy game when i was young but i dont remember)
