Dont allow rines to siege alien res room.
And where you think siege wall should be build at rt room(and should it be on right or on left) or at hives.
Imho map is unbulaced rines can siege in too many places and its pretty hard for aliens to defend it all.

good point there, dident think about alien RT room getting sieged will change that! The rines cant siege too many places, they can siege some parts. prolly needs to be tested.

ty =) the map is now uploaded. will reupload it when version changes. hopefully unsichtbar atleast takes a peak.

I like this map, only a few things...

I was so free to downsample your readyroom mp3 from 128 to 48 kbps, also some noise reduction, 15% faster playing and volume work done. This file is now smaller then the original 1,35MB to 448kb (added as attachment, if you wanna use it in future releses).

Another point is the gameplay, i think the way to the siegeroom is to long for the aliens and some hallways are verry (to) long. See the attached screenshot, red lines are the long hallways and green is the extreme long way to siegeroom

On the minimap i miss something around the alien res-room, are you sure the included minimap is the one you compiled for this release? Labbeled minimap is not labbeld?

All in all a nice siegemap, added to the alien breeder, let us play some rounds and judge later ^^

played just 30 min ago, it has to be fixed with some stuff, the minimap as Unsichtbar says is the wrong one, seems like aliens cant build the 3:rd hive, its too easy to rush, i made def with jp one round and the marines rushed even if i said def, we won easily, maybe some more objects and lower roof for aliens so marines cant shoot from far away?

Ty for fixing the RR loop i just dident think of it i presume. downloaded it and saving it
EDIT: Ill think of this issue next time ill make a map, and i will create a new map when im 100% done with this one.

I got a neat idea how to fix that i think. Im going to mess a little with it after this weekend. And im going to release a DELTA version!
EDIT: Idea is that to have another door that opens at the same time as the siegedoor to make the way shorter. might help the aliens alot.

Argh! I probably messed up with the spr file -_- i took the old one i guess, and i dont know how to label spr files so i just copied the original to not end up having the error that labeled spr dosent exist
EDIT: Could you teach me how to label those SPR files sometime?

okay, minimap will be fixed, and i will look into the faliure of building the 3rd hive after this weekend. And ill mess a bit with this map to make it more balanced. But hey, yer a good comm aswell, and were the alien team ûber? ;D
