It is possible to display icons for any reason, you just need to know the players steamid and an icon do display.

icons would be nice.

The NS server i've been playing in since Alienbreeder went offline has icons for members who donate money to the server. Might be a good idea here too.

Plus theres the normal stats icons, more than 500 kills gets you a 1 star general icon in NS etc, cant remember the exact requirements. The link above should explain them.


That ABLEns server is fantastic, everything Alienbreeder used to be and some features even better.

this is a verry bad idea. we won't take money from kids for useless icons. fire-bursts is in a verry lucky position, we have a sponsor who pays the bills. so if we would take money from our players for let me say more or less nothing real, what would you call that?

without a stats system we need you to write all the stats down by hand and manage alle the icons for the players. this could be a reason for donating to you in person if you consider this job but without players this job is maybe easier then i may expect

I agree with Dr. Moron, we will not take money from poor players for nothing like icons. This is not our way, sorry. Based on playerstats anything is possible, back then we had icons for the top 100 players based on daily stats and admins.

i dont't get it. if you are so impressed by those (even better) features, why can't you just name a few? is that to much asked? could help us to make the even better features perfect ones

I was playing one and a half round NS now and all the plugins are working so far as expected. Also found a icon stats plugin written for hlstats but i bet i can convert it to work with psychostats.

On a side note, i dont seem to be able to access any admin functions on the alien-breeder server. Tried both rcon and sm_admin
