Well in 2001 there was a game with exactly the same name only for Playstation 2 owners, but now all the nextgen consoles and also the PC users can play a brand new ego shooter in the Aliens universe.

The last Aliens based game i've played was Aliens Vs Predator 2 on my good old PC. I have high hopes for this new Aliens tactical shooter that is since 2006 by Gearbox Software in developement and uses the Unreal 3 engine. Sad but Gearbox is a little low on infomations about the multiplayer mode. So far coop and four player coop is confirmed. I also found a forums entry about gameplay similar to the popular Q2 Gloom mod.

On the E3 Gearbox and SEGA (who is publisher) announced more details and infos about Aliens Colonial Marines soon after the E3. The release date for the game is set to the first quater of 2009. And here some screens:

at this moment, i dont like the preview pic at all, grafic looks silly/stupid/low budget style

What exactly is looking silly, stupid or low budget? It just looks like the alien movies, if you don't like them i guess you won't like the game either

I think specialy the alien models are verry cool.

It looks more like artwork than a game/movie.
And in the end, games/movies are never like the Artwork/Previewpic that you see at the beginning/first time.

€dit: Best pic is 2nd to the right. that isnt ingame for me, thats jus ugly ...
The other Pic where you can see the marines in it, too. The ragdolls aint that good made as i was hopeing for.

I can ensure you that those pictures are real and UT3 engine based and from the PC version i guess, PS3 and Xbox360 textures are normaly in lower resulution. UT3 looks the same, check out the models and maps from UT3
