Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising - PC, Xbox360, Playstation 3

History first. Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crysis was released in 2001 by Codemasters. It was first REAL strategic first person shooter with wide operation areas and vehicles!

Now i wait for Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising. Game takes place on fictional island of Skira located off the north coast of Japan (based directly on Kiska Island, Alaska). Our 'hero' is part of US army sent to capture Skira after start of armed conflict.

Island is almost 280.000 square kilometers big. Crossing it in game would take 2 hours in jeep (in real time). It's composed of natural terrain and no designers creations.

Now the fun part! Armory! On the US side there is wide variety of MP5/M4/M16/SCAR series with different addons (ACOG, Scopes, grenade launchers). It's similiar with PLA side. TYPE-81(Chinese AK)/QBZ-95(similiar to L85/FAMAS)/QCQ-05(submachinegun) also addons available.

Vehicles? Classic Humvees, Jeeps, APCs, helicopters(Black Hawk, Little Bird, Cobra, Huey) and our enemies have: Type 99 Tank, WZ551 APC, ZSD89 APC, Type 95 SP Anti Aircraft, Type 63 Amphibious Tank and more!

Game will be released this autumn (2009)
