Comm tactic in ns_siege007?

I played this map as a comm and we won 2 times, but i dont know how I did it... :lol: Can someone say the order to build structures in ns_siege007 or some tactics?

For HA rush, about:

1. armory + upgrade (0:15)
2. RTs
RTs
Rts
RTs
near all Rt done -> build to base:

3. radar
4. weapon/armor upgrader thing
5. IP
6. phade gate upgrade on radar
7. weapon upgrade 1
8. heavy/jet pack builder thing (about 3:00 min)
9. heavy
10. PGs to door, base
11. radar motion
12 weapon upgrade 2
13. have heavies, near 5:00

This is one of tactics...
It works and will win marines, if you drop HAs, hmg+gls and marines are not lame and no have fades who go tru and kill RTs

I would get weapon uppgrade 1 before phase tech.....then you get weapon uppgrade 2 done a little bit faster.....+ you don't need a pg asap....as long as you got it before the door opens.


Actually I would do it like this:

3. weapon/armor upgrader thing
4. weapon upgrade 1
5. IP
6. radar
7. phade gate upgrade on radar

I prefer to do phase tech before weps 1, as then i can have a pg before a proto, so i can have the proto lab done in under 3 minutes.

Yes, also I do this priority sometimes if I see we team have 3-5 pro NS player who can massacre in alien side with HA+hmg/gl (and not too many pro alien NS players = easy rush win as marine) and no need PGs to map other place.

But a lot of time have ballanced teams: pros on all side and need a backup PGs to many place... and need time to build this and this is important than 1 level weapon upgrade...

With the "slow" proirity my team will have on door opening lvl 2 armour+weapon and with the "fast" priority will have the lvl 3 weapon in progress if i remember as good.

If the rines make a HA Rush i like it to kill The Heavys and the Respawn at the Rinebase as magentafade :lol:

If the rest of my team is not "noob" i busy 3-8 rines (if it only 3 i kill them fast^^)

40 steps to VICTORY

1 Run like hell to to the cc.
2 build an armory and upgrade it immedialtly 0:12 (no rt yet, ppl will build that first instaed of the armory)
3 all the rt's
4 ip and obs in base
5 research PT max time for this is 1:55
6 make 2 arms labs and upgrade armour1 and dmg1
7 at 2:40, pt just done, build pg at door, when build beacon.
8 place proto and all the ppl will rush on it to build it. should be done around 3:00
9 2nd ip base
10 when dmg1 is done research catalyst.
11 save res.
12 save res.
13 save res. ( no tf at door no armory no obs etc etc etc.)
14 drop alll the ppl a HMG and a welder exept 2, give them a gl.
15 save res.
16 save res.
17 HA IS DONE 5:00 drop HA'S to all your rines, save 15 res btw.
18 build pg base 5:30.
19 let the rines form a wall in the door, so fades cant pass.
20 drop shit loads of cata on the other side of the door.
21 let them rush in when door opens, but it's most important they stick together.
22 build tf @ the 2nd corner you see in the alien halls.
23 Spamm ammo med and cata packs.
24 Spamm some more.
25 upgrade tf to siege.
26 build a pg just behind the tf, an armory and an obs.
27 when siege up is done, build sieges directly in front of the "hive wall"
28 make shure your rines build them and are no onos hunting or whatever they like.....
29 when they are build, scan hive
30 Spamm some more ammo packs and cata.
31 drop new gear for n00b who rushed alone.....
32 scan
33 scan
34 scan
35 scan
36 ping ping ping ping
37 drop cata in hive room and loads of ammo
38 send rines to alien res rooms, and kill last lerk and gorge
39 thank marines for doing great
40 MARINES WON THE GAME

you didnt take into account if you ave a noob team...................

a HA rush always seems standard on the server, on other servers its usually 50 - 50 between HA rush and JP hold. A good tactic is a silent HA rush where u build a PG at the door and then beacon every1 back to base and dont build a PG at base till the last few seconds before the door opens, that way the PG at the door cant be heard so they think your doing JP defence at ramps

evo forgot his other tactic, where he gets in cc spams the hell out of the turrets until you can't build them anymore, then puts down all the mines as possible, then trys to block siege door using trrets & mines & tfs
